About the Hotel

Located in Independence (Mango Creek) The Toucan Inn was acquired by new owners in 2022 and completely renovated. Designed with both tourists and business folk in mind, The Toucan Inn provides a level of comfort that competes with the upscale resorts while keeping it local. At only 15 minutes by boat from Placencia and 35 minutes from the Mayan ruins, we tick all the boxes no matter what you are looking for.
